Wallet sign-up
How signing up with a wallet works, what the signed message does and does not do, and what Hardfloor stores about your account.
Signing up
You sign up with any EVM wallet. No email or name is required: your wallet address is your account.
- Connect your wallet on the Hardfloor site.
- Your wallet shows a sign-in message. Check it against the list below.
- Sign it. That creates your account and gives you a referral link.
Early sign-ups get launch access in order, so your place in line is set by when you sign up.
The signed message
The message uses Sign-In with Ethereum (EIP-4361 (opens in a new tab)), a standard text format for proving that you control an address. Before you sign, check that it shows:
- The site domain. If it does not match the site you are on, do not sign.
- The chain:
Chain ID: 4663, which is Robinhood Chain. - A one-time nonce. Each nonce works once and expires after 10 minutes.
What signing does not do
- It costs no gas.
- It sends no transaction.
- It grants no token approval.
- It gives no access to your funds.

Sessions
Once you sign, your session lasts 30 days. When it ends, you sign a fresh message to continue.
“Sign out everywhere” ends every session for your account at once, on every device and browser. Use it if you signed in on a shared computer or think a session was exposed.
Referrals
Every account gets a referral link. A referral is recorded only at sign-up: when someone opens your link and signs up, you are saved as the person who referred them. A referral cannot be added to an account that already exists.
What is stored
For each account, Hardfloor stores:
- Your wallet address.
- When you signed up.
- Your referral code.
- Who referred you, if anyone did.
- Your place in line.
- How many wallets signed up with your link.
- A session counter that “Sign out everywhere” increases.
- When you last signed in, so a signed sign-in message cannot be used twice.
No email or name is required, and signing in never gives Hardfloor access to your funds.
